SAC Artist Awards

Applications are now being accepted for the 2010 Artist Awards.
Application Deadline: November 9, 2009

To further SAC's commitment to New England craft artists, we are happy to announce the 2010 SAC Artist Awards. Initiated in 1994, the SAC Artist Awards are presented bi-annually and include a cash prize ($3000) and group exhibition awarded to New England artists. The award furthers The Society of Arts and Craft’s mission to encourage and support artists who show a mastery of their craft and create work that is original and innovative. Two of the 2010 awards will be in any media and one award, funded by the John D. Mineck Foundation, will be dedicated to furniture. John Mineck was a long-time friend and supporter of SAC and past president of the Board.
